Last year April, I bought a MHR Venom helmet.
But due to my carelessness, occasionally dropping the helmet, the side plate was in a bad shape. Visor will come out whenever I ride fast or when I wind up/down my visor. Asking for the price for the replacement of the side plate costs about $10. It’s totally not worth to change consider that I bought this helmet for around $20++ ?
Henceforth, I went to buy a white Mfizz Evolution II helmet. Free delivery to my house and a free helmet bag. Costs me $65 due to its light-weight and fibre glass shell construction. In my opinion, I think the pricing was better than Lim Ah Boy (LAB) where I was quoted around $70.

The best part is that when I bought this helmet today, it comes along with a First Street Legal Tinted Visor. Totally love it! No more risking paying $40 fine for wearing tinted visor!

A picture speaks a thousand words:
Added additional 1 GB of RAM from my bro computer which had up the lorry. This is what I called Renew, Reuse and Recycle since we used the same RAM frequency.

Having wish for a full face helmet when I passed my bike license, I finally get my hand on one. It’s the Cyber US-95 Knight Helmet.
I bought it 2nd hand cheap cheap from my office DXO. She’s a girl whom only worn it once or twice. No funky smell and everything is as good as new. She simply sold it because wearing a full face force her to fully check the blind spots. She is just not used to it.
But I don’t mind and love it !~

As times passed by, my Intel Core 2 Duo 2.60 Ghz is getting slow. Hence, following the guide of overclocking Intel Core 2 Duo, I overclocked my CPU to 3.00 Ghz without adjusting any voltage.
Since my power supply is reaching near its limit, I could not adjust the voltage to overclock higher and hence I am stuck at 3.00 Ghz which is stable enough after running all the stress tests.
Of course, the CoolerMaster Hyper n520 which I bought last year was not in vain. With this, I was able to “stock” overclock up to 3.00 Ghz with only 2 degree Celsius of temperature increase.

To “Ah Gua Lane” at Johor Baru, Malaysia!
I went in, for the first time, to service my bike and to pump petrol. It is dirt cheap compared to Singapore and their service is not that bad. I went in with SGD50 and convert to RM120++
These are what I did at AGL:
- In-line Fuel Filter (add a new one for my NSR)
- Decarbonize exhaust pipe, header and belly
- Washing of carburetor
- Changing of spark plug
- Drinking nescafe kopi and some biscuit
- Pumping Petronas RON 97 petrol until FULL FULL
So shiok ahhh!!! SGD50 go in do so much things. In Singapore, 50 bucks alone can’t even cover the costs of decarbonising my exhaust. However, the mechanic at Hou Heng bikeshop scratched my rear left tailboard deeply. I didn’t blame them because the guys at H L Cycle (Singapore bikeshop) adjust the fuel knob in a slanted way, which result in scratching the tailboard when the fuel tank was to be install back on the bike. It was an honest mistake
Nevertheless, I will go in again to familiarize the road and see see if I could get any accessories for my NSR
FYI, the place is called Ah Gua Lane because the lane behind those bikeshop, stands a lot of Ah Gua. I didn’t knew until I went to test my bike which go around the whole place. When I came back, my friend was amazed by me who say I went to the back-lane alone. I freaking don’t even know there are ah gua behind. Got trap!

Last month, I got into an accident involving a Malaysian lorry driver. So in order to have my NSR restored to a state before accident, an insurance pay out is inevitable. However, it largely depends on the outcome of the Traffic Police Investigation of this accident.
Nevertheless, I received a letter from them:
“We refer to your report concerning the above accident.
Traffic Police will not be investigating into the accident which did not fall within the various categories of exceptions. No action is being taken against anyone in this case. Our findings do not affect insurance and civil claim.
Please report the accident to your insurer using the prescribed form at which is available at your insurance company.”
Now the police are not intervening, I ‘ve to make sure that I will sue the lorry driver deep deep for causing so much inconvenience for me.

It’s doesn’t pay to be hardworking during National Service. Or maybe specifically in the Army. I got my fair share and have gained enlightenment on it. NS is just bullshit.
I think lets just call it National Slavery from now onwards. It sounds better and reflect what it is in Singapore.
