Below is mingen-chan‘s T420 drenched in rain waters:

The laptop was still charging as seen from the above picture. Thinkpad is hardcore!
Thanks to my mingen-chan for importing this for me.
My T420 DVD drive:

The caddy:

Mounting the caddy:

I didn’t mount any hard-drive on the caddy because I bought the caddy mainly to “fix” the irritating DVD open-door problem on T420.
Recently bought a Ducky mechanical keyboard (blue switch) after selling off my Razer BlackWidow.
It comes along with 2 red ESC keycaps, WASD light blue keycaps and a keycap puller.
As this keyboard is ???, the keycap lettering is black on black:

The design of this keyboard is compact. Lock keys has LED in-built inside. How cool can this be?!

Additionally, it comes with 4 macro keys at the top-right and 3 functions keys with red LED in-built:

The 4 marco keys function are as follows:
- Calculator
- Open up My Computer
- E-mail
- Homepage of Web browser
The 3 function keys is capable of:
- Disable Windows key
- Remapping Windows key to Alt key and vice-versa
- Disable Caps Lock key
Ducky keyboards are all Made in Taiwan, same as Filco keyboard. The good thing is that Filco and Ducky used almost the same keycaps. This means that keycaps between these keyboards are interchangeable.
If you are interested in getting one, try pm-ing SmallWalrus @ VR-zone. I got mine from him.
Bought a mechanical keyboard, Razer Black Widow Standard Edition, for SGD139 after much poison, researches and consideration. This keyboard is using Cherry MX Blue Switch which is very “shiok” whenever I type something out.
Also comes with 5 macro buttons which I think I won’t be utilizing it as I no longer play MMORPG games. Will try to see if the macro buttons can be used to open up Windows application instead when I am free.
A picture of my new keyboard:

This keyboard is my 2nd Razer keyboard and in my opinion, it is one of the best out there. I previously own a Razer Arctosa but sold it after using it for 1 night as my wrist get very tired. This keyboard does not pose such problem to me. In addition, the feel and “click, click” sound by this mechanical keyboard is also very nice.
Now a picture of 3 Razer products on my working desk:

From left to right, Razer Black Widow, Razer Krait and Razer Goliathus.

Added additional 1 GB of RAM from my bro computer which had up the lorry. This is what I called Renew, Reuse and Recycle since we used the same RAM frequency.
As times passed by, my Intel Core 2 Duo 2.60 Ghz is getting slow. Hence, following the guide of overclocking Intel Core 2 Duo, I overclocked my CPU to 3.00 Ghz without adjusting any voltage.
Since my power supply is reaching near its limit, I could not adjust the voltage to overclock higher and hence I am stuck at 3.00 Ghz which is stable enough after running all the stress tests.

Of course, the CoolerMaster Hyper n520 which I bought last year was not in vain. With this, I was able to “stock” overclock up to 3.00 Ghz with only 2 degree Celsius of temperature increase.
Screenshot of my CPU temperature and stress testing after overclocking:

Very sad. I seriously hate Intel HSF push pin style. My motherboard is bend now.
Like the picture below, dented mobo:

Also, my temperature rises up to 44C during idle time. At average load, the temperature is near 60C. This is consider relatively high for my E4700 since I have not overclock the CPU yet.
I am definitely going to change my PC casing since it pretty sucks big time. The PSU is SUPER NEAR my mobo. I have heat dissipation problem too because of the lousy casing structure. Don’t ask me why I get this casing last time.
I am also going to get a LGA775 back-plate for my mobo, eliminating push-pin style! Moreover, I am considering to buy CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Heat Sink Fan to replace my stock HSF. I hope all these will change my temperature.
If everything is success, I will also try overclocking my E4700 to 3.0Ghz. This will certainly improve my computer “horsepower”!
Below video is not a C2D stock heatsink, but somewhat it resemble the shape. It is hard to apply the thermal paste because of the circular shape of the heat sink.
See the jitpun kia do:
Lastly, thanks xiao ming a zillion for lending me his thermal paste. Now my computer is okay
