To “Ah Gua Lane” at Johor Baru, Malaysia!
I went in, for the first time, to service my bike and to pump petrol. It is dirt cheap compared to Singapore and their service is not that bad. I went in with SGD50 and convert to RM120++
These are what I did at AGL:
- In-line Fuel Filter (add a new one for my NSR)
- Decarbonize exhaust pipe, header and belly
- Washing of carburetor
- Changing of spark plug
- Drinking nescafe kopi and some biscuit
- Pumping Petronas RON 97 petrol until FULL FULL
So shiok ahhh!!! SGD50 go in do so much things. In Singapore, 50 bucks alone can’t even cover the costs of decarbonising my exhaust. However, the mechanic at Hou Heng bikeshop scratched my rear left tailboard deeply. I didn’t blame them because the guys at H L Cycle (Singapore bikeshop) adjust the fuel knob in a slanted way, which result in scratching the tailboard when the fuel tank was to be install back on the bike. It was an honest mistake
Nevertheless, I will go in again to familiarize the road and see see if I could get any accessories for my NSR
FYI, the place is called Ah Gua Lane because the lane behind those bikeshop, stands a lot of Ah Gua. I didn’t knew until I went to test my bike which go around the whole place. When I came back, my friend was amazed by me who say I went to the back-lane alone. I freaking don’t even know there are ah gua behind. Got trap!
