Caltex Station Fuel Problem

I have a bad experience to share about Caltex station @ Tampines AVE 10.

First of all, the least octane of fuel that can be pumped into Honda NSR150SP is RON91. Any fuel that is lower than this octane will causes engine knocking, resulting in serious engine damages.

And yes, I encountered engine knocking while traveling back home today. My NSR keep on jerking and jerking till it stalls half-way while I was riding. It was a damn scary experience as it was the peak hour on the road. Worst of all, the engine dies off 3 times and I have difficulty starting it!

I have to on-off the engine kill switch, turn my fuel knob to reserve, pull out my choke, and keep on whacking my throttle while kick-starting the engine at the same time.

Of course, I was freaking tired and exhausted. Previously, I did not encountered any engine knocking about Caltex Regular 92 petrol on other stations. The engine knocking occurs whenever I pumped RON92 at Caltex Tampines Ave 10.

This seriously probes the octane of Caltex Regular 92 Petrol at Tampines Ave 10 pump station. Out of the grace of my heart, ‘m going to write in to question the octane issues before more and more drivers/riders have their engine screwed up.
