Summon Appeal Failed

My fine of $120 from Traffic Police failed miserably. Just as I was talking and happy about the government giving $100 bonus of GST Credits for NSF yesterday, the government “took back” it faster than I thought and I still owe them $20.
Here is their reply to my appeal:
The content of your letter has been noted. We have reviewed your case and note that there is an offence disclosed. Traffic Police takes a serious view of such offence. As such, we regret to inform you that the charge preferred against you stands.
A fresh Notice of Traffic Offence will be issued to you in due course.
We would like to urge you to make a conscious effort to comply with all the traffic rules and regulations which are made for your own safety and that of other road users.
How sad I am. All along, I have a clean driving records and they didn’t even bother to waive a bit. I am not asking to waive off totally, but at the very least, they should be flexible and waive off a bit since this is my first, or should I said maiden/virgin, offence.
This is Singapore. Such a “Fine” country.

Sucks a lot! He is just an NSF MO and his attitude towards patient is totally cannot make it!
I went in to endorse my letter from SGH Specialist and he talked to me in a harsh and sarcastic manner, as if I owe him 1 million. Mind him, I talked in a humble and gentle tone. Instead of representing my case to the medical board, he told me to go down MMI myself for the medical board! Furthermore, he doesn’t issue any authorization letter or so for me to go down! I wonder how he is going to survive when he ORD and work as a doctor. This is going to sucks big time.
Okay, enough of my rantings. I am just pissed off with him. Spoil my whole day. I still reckon Bedok Camp MO(s) are the best!
Medical Excuse

Well, the specialist from SGH wrote a memo to my camp MO and recommended me excuse stay-in and guard duty permanently because of my slipped disc condition.
Now I wonder whether the camp MO will overwrite this decision because they have the power to do so. I really hope not because my condition really can’t stand all these shit!
No chao keng on my part because it is a genuine medical condition that affects my whole life now. Thanks to National Service in Singapore.

Someone broke the office glass door and my CPT arrowed me to stay-in tomorrow night to guard the office. What a nice CPT I have despite “selling my life” for him.
He should have asked the farking guy who broke the door to stay-in. Nabei! This is one of the reasons how NS sucks big time!
New Web Host

As I was talking about my soon-to-expire web host at http://xbfish.com/?p=483,I found a relatively good Singapore web host and decided to sign up with them.
Take a look at their SPARKS S2000L plan over http://www.sparkstation.net/sharedhosting.html.
I email them my interest in signing up and asked for whether is there any on-going promotion or discount. Fortunately for me, there is a 1 for 1 package, which means I get 1 year of free web hosting plan if I were to signed up for 1 year. So, my new web host ends on 22 Jan 2012 instead of 22 Jan 2011 for the price of one year!
That’s incredible. So far the web host is good and service support was fast to my surprise. I will continue to monitor the situation to see whether it’s really up to the high standards.
Web Hosting expiring…

My web-hosting with 1-dollar-webhosting is expiring this coming 25th of the month. Time files. Almost 1 year has just passed for the web-hosting if you can dig read up my post here: http://xbfish.com/?p=126
I tried e-mail them about renewing my contract. But they didn’t bother to reply me, for 2 times. I think it’s really time to change web-host.
Meanwhile, if you happen to have affordable and reliable web-host, please do not hesitate to intro it to me. I am on a tight budget this year because am currently a slave NSF to the nation.
